Review: Skype is definitely NOT open source. In fact, they go out of their way to make it as hard as possible for anyone to figure out its inner workings. And it's not 64-bit.

Review: Working with Skype for over 3 years to call clients throughout Europe and beyond. With the right USB phone connected, the quality is just perfect and I pay just a bit over 5 euros a month thanks to the subscription. Skype even allows you to call directly from contacts in Outlook.
