ZOOM B3n Multi-Effects Pedals Firmware 2.20

Changes:

1. EDITOR View of Guitar Lab sometimes cannot be used.
2. USB connection is sometimes disabled after a certain period of time.

Installing the standard Windows driver on the computer:

- Connect the B3n to the computer using a USB cable. If you connect to a USB port that is different from the one that you used when installing the Windows standard driver previously, "Driver Software Installation" will appear.
- After a short time, the standard driver installation will complete.

Updating the firmware

1. Use a USB cable to connect the B3n to a computer.
2. While pressing both FS1 and FS2, turn the POWER switch ON.
2.1. NOTE: The firmware update requires the standard driver.
3. Double-click the firmware update application icon to launch.
4. With a B3n, click the “MIDI IN” and “MIDI OUT” fields to open lists of MIDI devices and select “ZOOM G Series” for both. If nothing is shown in the fields, click [Rescan Device] button.
5. Click the [Execute] button to start the firmware update.
5.1. Do not disconnect the USB cable while the firmware is being updated. In the unlikely event that a firmware update should fail, follow the procedures from the beginning to update the firmware again.
6. When the firmware update completes, click the [Exit] button to close the firmware update application. Then, turn the B3n power off. This completes the firmware update.

About DJ Mixers Updates:

Updating the mixer's firmware version can add support for newly developed features (or improve existing ones), enhance audio quality and transition effects, resolve different problems such as those regarding various noises heard in certain situations, and many other related improvements.

However, before downloading this package, go to the unit's system information and make sure that the currently installed firmware isn't either newer or matches this release. Moreover, you should know that an update failure might seriously damage the mixer's software, so it is vital that you are familiar with the installation steps.

As for applying this release, you must transfer the downloadable package (or its content) to the mixer via any available methods, and power up the unit through various key combinations in order to enter update mode (make sure you read the product's user guide).

This said, if you consider installing this release and you're positive you have all the knowledge you need for a successful upgrade, download the package, and apply it to your mixer. Check with our website constantly so that you don't miss any update that can improve your device.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
