NVIDIA RTX/Quadro Graphics Driver 472.39 for Windows 10 64-bit

NVIDIA RTX Enterprise Production Branch Driver

- Release 470 is the latest Production Branch (PB) release of the NVIDIA RTX Enterprise Driver. This new driver provides improvements over the previous branch in the areas of application performance, API interoperability (e.g., OpenCL/Vulkan), and application power management.
- PB drivers are designed and tested to provide long-term stability and availability, making these drivers ideal for enterprise customers and other users who require application and hardware certification from ISVs and OEMs respectively.
- The PB driver is a superset of the NVIDIA Studio Driver and provides all the benefits of the Studio Driver of the same version, in addition to NVIDIA RTX-specific enhancements and testing.

What’s New in Version 470 U5

- Security updates - see Security Bulletin: NVIDIA GPU Display Driver - October 2021, which is available on the release date of this driver and is listed on the NVIDIA Product Security page.

Application profile updates:

- Adobe Substance 3D Stager: Fixed the Optimus profile to run on the discrete GPU by default.
- IntelliCAD: Updates to address stability issues.

Studio Application Updates

- Adobe Lightroom and Lightroom Classic: support for Select Subject and Select Sky, which are AI-powered masking tools for isolating people and capturing skylines respectively.
- Adobe Substance 3D: NVIDIA RTX-accelerated ray tracing support speeds up interactive image rendering and improves performance over CPU alone.
- Adobe Premiere Elements: support for Auto Reframe feature to automatically frame the most important areas in shots.
- DXO Photolab: Tensor core AI integration for DeepPRIME technology to reduce digital noise, especially in photos taken in low light conditions.
- Gamecaster Live: NVIDIA Broadcast support for different levels of noise removal by audio source to further fine tune output.

Fixed Issues in Version 470 U5

- [Autodesk VRED]: Flickering occurs in the application when rendering in 16-bit float.
- [AutoCAD][Notebook]: The application might crash when switching between drawings.
- [Altair]: Visualization issues occur when disabling multisampling.
- [Redshift3D]: GPU clocks remain at maximum rate even when the application is idle.

Open Issues in Version 470 U5

- [Alchemist]: The application crashes when either changing the display resolution or switching to another display with a different resolution. To workaround, avoid changing the resolution, or disconnecting from or connecting to an external display with the application opened.

This release supports the following APIs:

- Open Computing Language (OpenCL software) 1.2 for NVIDIA Kepler and later GPUs
- OpenGL 4.6
- Vulkan 1.2
- DirectX 11
- DirectX 12
- NVIDIA CUDA 11.2
- This driver installs nView Desktop Manager version 201.66.

About Graphics Drivers:

While installing the graphics driver allows the system to properly recognize the chipset and the card manufacturer, updating the video driver can bring about various changes.

It can improve the overall graphics experience and performance in either games or various engineering software applications, include support for newly developed technologies, add compatibility with newer GPU chipsets, or resolve different problems that might have been encountered.

When it comes to applying this release, the installation steps should be a breeze, as each manufacturer tries to make them as easy as possible so that each user can update the GPU on their own and with minimum risks (however, check to see if this download supports your graphics chipset).

Therefore, get the package (extract it if necessary), run the setup, follow the on-screen instructions for a complete and successful installation, and make sure you reboot the system so that the changes take effect.

That being said, download the driver, apply it on your system, and enjoy your newly updated graphics card. Moreover, check with our website as often as possible in order to stay up to speed with the latest releases.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
