This package provides the ISO image file of UEFI BIOS which is compatible with CD/DVD writing software to create the CD/DVD for the UEFI BIOS update. Hereafter the CD/DVD for the UEFI BIOS update is called as BIOS Update CD.&

The BIOS Update CD can boot the computer disregarding the operating systems and update the UEFI BIOS (including system programs and Embedded Controller program) stored in the ThinkPad computers to fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions.&

&Fixes:&&
- Updated UEFI Diagnostic Program (version 02.03.00).&
- Fixed an issue where PXE server could not receive computer's UUID when network boot with UEFI mode was performed.&
- Fixed an issue where Bluetooth and/or wireless WAN might not function if USB UEFI BIOS Support was disabled with old UEFI BIOS versions.&
- Fixed an issue where the system might fail to boot from network. Note: From version 1.5.50, Intel Boot Agent doesn't support PXE option 61.&
- Fixed an issue where the key shift information might not be reported at pre-boot environment.&
- Fixed an issue where the system might not enter Startup Interrupt Menu.&
- Fixed an issue where the system might not resume by timer when the battery was in critical low state. &
- Changed discharge threshold of bay battery to SOC 5%, to avoid system from losing communication with bay batteries.&
