Intel HNS2600BPS24R Compute Module Onboard Network Driver 26.2

Downloads network driver for Intel PRO/100 Adapters, Intel Gigabit Network Adapters, Intel 10GbE Network Adapters, and 40GbE network adapters.

If it has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing) may fix problems, add new functions, or expand existing ones. Even though other OSes might be compatible as well, we do not recommend applying this release on platforms other than the ones specified.

What's New in This Release:

- Support for FreeBSD 12.2. Drivers are no longer tested on FreeBSD 12.1.

Intel 700 Series Changes:

- Linux driver: Express Data Path - On the newest Kernels system hang might be observed after eBPF program has been loaded.
- Linux driver: Driver reload or unbind and bind driver on an Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X710 may cause link down on first port after reboot.
- Linux driver: rx_errors counter double-counts some packets when traffic doesn't pass Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC).
- Linux driver: Link may be lost after changing MAC address on Physical Function (PF) using Intel Ethernet Network Adapter X722.
- Windows driver: OID_GEN_RCV_ERROR double-counts some packets when traffic doesn't pass Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC).
- Windows driver: Under heavy stress on Windows Server 2019, customers might see Event 260: "Failed to move RSS queue from VMQ." in the system event viewer using Intel Ethernet Network Adapter X722. This is due to the driver not moving a particular queue in time for it to move to a new CPU. This is a nonfatal message and traffic is still processed as expected.
- Intel Ethernet Flash Firmware Utility: One of the ports of Intel Ethernet Network Adapter X710-T2L may not be initialized when using Intel Ethernet Flash Firmware Utility.

About Network Adapter Drivers:

When connected, the operating system usually installs a generic driver that helps the computer to recognize the newly attached device.

However, proper software must be applied if you want to make use of all features that the network adapter has available. This task also allows computers to properly recognize all device characteristics such as manufacturer, chipset, technology, and others.

Updating the adapter's drivers and utilities version might improve overall performance and stability, increase transfer speeds, fix different compatibility problems and several network-related errors, as well as bring various other changes.

To install this release, simply get the package, extract it if necessary, run the setup, and follow the instructions displayed on-screen. When done, don't forget to perform a system restart and reconnect the network adapter to make sure that all changes take effect properly.

Without further ado, if you intend to apply this version, click the download button and install the package. Moreover, check with our website as often as possible so that you don't miss a single new release.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
