Intel XTU is a Windows-based performance-tuning software that enables novice and experienced enthusiasts to overclock, monitor, and stress a system. The software interface exposes a set of robust capabilities common in most enthusiast platforms along with new features available on new Intel application processors and Intel motherboards.

Future Platform Support:

- Added per-core OC TVB support
- Added package OC TVB support
- Basic monitoring support for some locked SKUs

Enhanced AlderLake – S Support:

- Additional SKU support for Intel Speed Optimizer
- Enabled BCLK UI control
- DDR5 XMP Gear Multiplier support

Changes:

- Core Isolation Memory Integrity, Virtual Machine State, and Hyper-V state detection and notification
- Removal of Package and Per-Core UI modes
- Proposed values will no longer persist across sleep states

Known Issues:

- If a profile has been exported that has a mix of adaptive and static per-core voltage mode values, upon importing it, XTU will inform you that “An error exists in this profile and it cannot be proposed” and the profile will not be imported. This only affects profile import/export, not profile saving or proposing.
- Core Isolation Memory Integrity, Hyper-V, and Virtual Machine State are incompatible with XTU. XTU is unable to function when these features are enabled.
- HWBot Compare Online feature misidentifies 10850Ks as engineering samples

About Tuning Utility:

Install this tuning utility and you will be able to manually configure various overclocking values, such as CPU and memory frequencies, system clocks, fan speeds, and monitor temperature for different components.

However, please note that you're supposed to tweak these settings only between supported ranges; changing configurations to extreme values without additional cooling systems might seriously damage components.

The installation steps needed for the software to be applied are very easy: get the downloadable package, extract it if necessary, run the available setup, and carefully follow all displayed instructions for a complete and successful installation.

In addition to that, please note that it's recommended you perform a system reboot so that all changes can take effect properly. Bear in mind that, even though other OSes might be compatible, we don't suggest against installing this release on platforms other than the highlighted ones.

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
