AMD StoreMI Technology Utility 2.1.0.218 64-bit
The following new features have been introduced in this release:
- Enabled support for AMD Ryzen 5800X3D desktop processor on x570, B550, x470 and B450 chipset motherboards
- Enabled support for AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5000WX Series
- IO performance improvement on SATA SSDs
The following issues have been fixed in this release:
- IO performance drop issue with SATA SSDs
- AMD StoreMI installer failure on some system with AMD Ryzen 5000 series desktop processors
The following are known issues in this release:
- After installing AMD StoreMI, performance of some models of M2 SATA SSD may drop.
- AMD StoreMI installation fails on some systems where: Dual operating system (OS) is configured. In such scenarios, AMD StoreMI is only supported on the primary OS.
- AMD StoreMI installation fails on some systems where: B550 systems due to page file being set to non-boot drive by default. In such a case, enable paging for the boot drive only and try installing again.
Storage Devices
- At least one rotational hard disk (HDD) of any capacity larger than the SSD cache device. The HDD must be connected to a SATA port provided in the AMD processor or chipset.
- At least one unformatted, uninitialized, unallocated SATA or NVMe SSD for storage acceleration. If using a brand new, unused SSD, simply plug the SSD into the system. Most new SSDs will offer a default name to identify it in the AMD StoreMI Cache device menu. A used SSD can be re-used as an AMD StoreMI cache device. However, all the vital data must be backed up by the user and any existing partitions/volumes must be deleted before proceeding.
- The former AMD StoreMI tiering software must not be installed.
- The system should not be configured for RAID storage.
- The maximum drive count is 16.
Product Support:
- AMD Ryzen 5000 Series desktop processors on AMD X570 and B550 chipset motherboards
- AMD Ryzen 3000 Series desktop processors on AMD X570, B550, X470 and B450 chipset motherboards
- AMD Ryzen 3000 Series desktop processors with Radeon Graphics on AMD X570, X470 and B450 chipset motherboards
- AMD Ryzen 2000 Series desktop processors on AMD X570, X470 and B450 chipset motherboards
- AMD Ryzen 2000 Series desktop processors with Radeon Graphics on AMD X470 and B450 chipset motherboards
- AMD Ryzen 4000 Series desktop processors with Radeon Graphics on AMD X570 and B550 chipset motherboards
- AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1000 and 2000 Series processors on AMD X399 chipset motherboards
- AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3000 Series processors on AMD TRX40 chipset motherboards
- AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO processors on AMD WRX80 chipset motherboards

About Tuning Utility:
Install this tuning utility and you will be able to manually configure various overclocking values, such as CPU and memory frequencies, system clocks, fan speeds, and monitor temperature for different components.
However, please note that you're supposed to tweak these settings only between supported ranges; changing configurations to extreme values without additional cooling systems might seriously damage components.
The installation steps needed for the software to be applied are very easy: get the downloadable package, extract it if necessary, run the available setup, and carefully follow all displayed instructions for a complete and successful installation.
In addition to that, please note that it's recommended you perform a system reboot so that all changes can take effect properly. Bear in mind that, even though other OSes might be compatible, we don't suggest against installing this release on platforms other than the highlighted ones.
That being said, click the download button, get the package and set up this feature on your system. For more on the latest releases, keep checking back with our website to “stay updated one minute ago.”
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
