Business Charts provides an easy way for end users to create charts directly in SharePoint list without help from an IT administrator. End users just click the ribbon button to get started. Multiple Chart Types Supported 5 chart types are provided in Business Charts: Bar, Column (Stacked Bar), Line, Area and Pie. Users can pick which type of chart they want to use and can change between chart types. Even Better, Business Charts allows users to create multiple charts in one list or Web Part, which improves users analysis. Supports Aggregate Functions to Analyze Data When users create a chart, they can use several functions (SUM, COUNT, AVERAGE, MAX, MIN, etc.) to sort or summarize data. Users can use these functions to manipulate or aggregate data in a single column, or compare or combine data across columns. Supports Multiple Data Sources With the Business Charts Web Part, users can retrieve data from multiple external data sources to generate charts, including SharePoint lists in different site collections or farms, MS SQL and ORACLE. Thus Business Charts makes it easier to access and analyze data from other business applications. Supports Grouping and Filtering The grouping function helps users analyze and visualize data in any way they want, by allowing users to group data into different data sets, irrespective of how it is originally stored in SharePoint. Furthermore, filters can be created to narrow down and refine data to be represented on the chart. Share Chart on Web part There are two ways to create a chart in SharePoint, in list or by Web Part. By adding the Business Charts Web Part on any page, you can create a chart or report, making it easier to share information with your team. Customizable Appearance Business Charts enables user customization that changes the appearance of a chart and makes charts easier to understand and more readable. Users can specify data labels, axis titles, decimal places and animations for their charts.
