Aiming to enhance users' experience with the Hue lights, Philips released an application that can synchronize lights with playing music, videos, or games, which goes by the name of Philips Hue Sync.

Once connected to a Hue bridge, Philips Hue Sync displays a few options that allow you to control gaming, music, and video sessions. Practically, the application takes a look at the content you are playing and the displayed colors, and generates a light script automatically, according to your synchronization preferences.
