You can convert any .wav files to commpressed MP3 or WMA files for your choose. Before encoding you may choose bitrate, samplerate and stereo/mono mode. Also you can specify destination path and .wav files may be deleted automatically for your choose. When encoding process is started you may see left time, elapsed time and encoding speed.

NecroEncoder's features:

1. Advanced encode list (contains files that you are going to encode).
* You may create the list of files that you are going to encode. Every file has a checkbox. If checkbox of file is enabled, that file will be encoded. Use this feature if you want to encode files with different bitrate, samplerate or stereo/mono mode. When you will add files to the list, all checkboxes will be enabled.
* To enqueue any files to the encode list you have two ways. The first way to enqueue files to the list is click "Add files" button that located on the main panel. After clicking this button, you may browse and then select any files you need and click open button.
* The second way to add files to the encode list is using "drag & drop". It means that you may select any files that you need in the file manager (for example, it may be Windows Explorer) and drag they to the NecroEncoder's window and drop they here.
2. Multiformat support. NecroEncoder v1.0 supports two formats to encode files.
* Primary format is WMA (Windows Media Audio). It was made by Microsoft corporation in response to MP3 audio format. Microsoft itself claims that the sound quality of Windows Media Audio files (.wma files) should be the same for a file that is only half the size of an MP3 file. Encoding WMA is however very fast (not so much slowly than Xing's MP3 encoder). And now WMA format becomes more popular, and I think that it'll be the most popular. For use WMA with NecroEncoder and other programs you must have installed WMA redistribute. If it is not installed on your system (NecroEncoder and may be other programs doesn't work with WMA files), you must download it and install. WMFARedist.zip (1.8 Mb)
* Secondary format is MP3. This is the most popular format and you are know more about It. Now LAME encode library included to the installation package. It is the most popular encode library for make MP3 files with best quality of sound. Now you can enjoy with very good mp3 sound.
* To choose destination format use "MP3" and "WMA" buttons on main panel.
3. Advanced output format settings. To configure the output format you may click "Audio" button. Then you will see Settings window for selected audio format. There you may change bitrate, sample rate and other settings. If you want to select another format, settings window will change authomatically. You can use VBR with mp3 format. It means that bitrate will be selected authomatically.
4. Using MP3 or WMA TAGs. With NecroEncoder you may write TAGs in the files you are going to encode. To use this feature click "TAG" button and you will see little TAG editor for selected output format.
5. Encoding files.
* When you encoding chosen files you can see windows that contains more statistics. There are left time, elapsed time, total time encoding speed and etc.
* The .wav files may be automaticaly deleted after encoding is ends.
* You may specify destination folder where the output files will be placed. By default encoded files will be placed to the input file folder.
